 Today we worked on forming the first paragraph for unpopular opinions arguments. Today was a 9 out of 10 

 I was not at school

 Today was a nice chill day. We only had a couple of pages of book work. 

 Today in class we did examples of ethos, logos, and pathos. We watched commercial ads and did some written ones also. 

 Today we went over arguments and made a cluster on if we agreed or disagreed that schools should provide vegetarian options. 

 Mr. Rease wasn’t here to day so we had Vocab words. Today was a ok day. 

 Today was good day we worked on our own clusters and it actually pretty easy. I might start using it from essays. Today was a 9 out of 10. 

 

 Today we dove in the writting process some more and went over two new ways to brainstorm. Today was a 6 out of 10.

 I feel that the short film conveyed the message that being different is okay. The main character was the only person with a different mask. Everyone else had a solid colored mask with the same face structure. In addition the other students would change their mask to fit in with a certain croup.

 Today we worked on constructed body paragraphs for essays. Honestly no teacher has ever broken it down that simple. Today class was a 10 out of 10. 

 

 Today in class we started off with a short film which was very interesting. Teaching about the values and purpose of life. Then we read and talked about I, Too by Langston Hughes. It was a pretty good poem and it had many messages. Today class was a 7.5 out of 10

 Based on the short film the message of the short film is that we have to cherish every moment in life because it can all be taken away at any time. Therefore the meaning of life to me is to live to do right by people and live an everlasting impression on people. However we can only do this by going to through hardships and learning how to help people is important because you never knowing when you might need a helping. Dying knowing that you have lived with purpose and meaning is a great achievement. 

 Today in class we went over Mother To Son by Langston Hughes and it talked about how life is hard but it worth going through the hardships to reach better times. The discussion questions always helped me understand the poem more. So today 9 out of 10. 

 This poem has been the best poems I’ve read in all of my schooling years. Since 5th every ELA teacher I’ve had us do this poem. It get better each time I read it and dissect it it hits home differently each time. 

 Today in class we started with a deep thinking bell ringer. Then we got into the lesson about Langston Hughes. His poetry was amazing. Overall class was a 8.5 out of 10. 

 The best my grandma gave me was to control what i can control. Its no specific situation that made her tell me that. She knows how hard I am on myself no matter the outcome is I'm just never satisfied and always have to keep getting better. So she just told me that I can only control what I do and not the outcome because it's never going be exactly what we wanted all the time. I and ever since then I'm still hard on myself , however i understand I don't need to stress over situations that are not in my control.

 Today was a good day in class. We start with watching a short film and answering questions about it. Which I feel is a great way to start the class. Then we did a Kahoot about Mr. Reese which kind of through me off a little because I thought we going to start on Unit 1. Then we had a pre test which was eh cool I guess because it's not really work for real.so today was a 8 out of 10.

 I thought that the film was very short and sweet. I liked how he was able to recognize that they were at the max weight limit. One theme would be that no matter what position your in there is always a position that is worse. Be grateful for what you have
